Self Massage & Pilates


Would you like to have techniques to help your body feel better, recover from strain or injury, and function better?  We use soft rollers, tennis balls and smaller balls to stimulate our very responsive connective tissue to replenish itself with fluid and fiber.  When connective tissue becomes more functional, our muscles relax and also become more functional.  In a one hour class you can relieve pain, release tension and toxins, gain strength and flexibility, improve balance and coordination.  This is a trouble shooting class where you can ask for what you would like the class to focus on.  You will be guided thru your muscular and skeletal anatomy.  We use Pilates exercises and yoga stretches to assess our ability to function.  Please bring a yoga mat and drinking water.  Rollers and balls are provided.  This is an all levels class.  

Instructor Leah Becker has been practicing massage therapy for 24 years, teaching mat Pilates for 18 years, teaching restorative yoga for 9 years, and teaching Self Massage for 5 years.  Leah has certifications from Muscular Therapy Institute, Stott Pilates, and The MELT Method.  She has 300 hours of training with Master Yoga Foundation.
