In this one hour, massage therapist taught pilates mat class we spend extra time using the foam roller and body rolling balls to smooth out stressed or injured muscles. This class is ideal if you have aches and pain that limit movement, are recovering from an injury or are an athlete in training. The class flows between Pilates exercises, stretches and foam rolling. Rollers and balls are provided. This is an all levels class.
Instructor Leah Becker has been practicing massage therapy for 24 years, teaching mat Pilates for 18 years, teaching restorative yoga for 9 years, and teaching Self Massage for 5 years. Leah has certifications from Muscular Therapy Institute, Stott Pilates, and The MELT Method. She has 300 hours of training with Master Yoga Foundation.
