Join us and learn the basics of classical ballet in a warm welcoming environment! Designed for absolute beginners, participants will develop technique, musicality and grace while progressing at a steady pace over the session. These classes are taught slowly with the focus on correct body placement and proper execution of ballet steps. Students are required to register for the full session as we build on what we have learned from week to week.
The program is 12 classes in a 6 week period. Students will have the opportunity to take 2 classes every week either in the morning or evening. Registration is required.
Ballet Beginner sessions are offered periodically. The next sessions are as yet unscheduled.
Dress code: Students can wear anything from traditional ballet clothing such as leotard, tights, leg warmups, and skirt, to yoga pants or leggings and t-shirt. We recommend you wear something that will make you comfortable, allow you to move freely, and also allow teachers to see and correct your body posture. Ballet slippers are recommended.
